Yang Stands In Souquet's Way In Round Three

FORMER World Champion Ralf Souquet will have to be at his beat on Thursday to defeat Yang Ching-shun, a player who has made the semi-finals in the past.
Souquet, the 1996 winner (pictured right), will be playing at 9pm on Table Two in one of the highlights of Round Three, before Efren Reyes faces another Filipino opponent - Ronato Alcano.
On table one, two-time World Champion Chao Fong-pang faces his countryman Fu Che-wei, who is hoping to make the last 16 of the competition for the first ever time.
Vilmos Foldes, regarded as one of the finest players in Europe, meets Vietnam's Luong Chi-Dung, qualifier Jharome Pena faces snooker legend Steve Davis and Kuo Po-cheng (Chinese Taipei) meets local hope Marlon Manalo in the other matches on the main table.
Elsewhere, Scotland's Pat Holtz meets England's Kevin Uzzell and German Thomas Engert, who elimiated Filipino Francisco Bustamante, will now meet Sandor Tot in the last 32.
